  1. I’m very sorry, but I am IRATE!!! I took 2 std modems into Xfinity today to exchange one (that wasn’t working, the light wouldn’t come on) and the other to upgrade. We got them home and hooked them up and called to have them activated. The std one came right up, the other (DVR) was having problems so we disconnected to return it. In the meantime I moved one of the other modems into the room that was to have the new DVR. I later went into the kitchen and THAT modem was disabled! Trying to get to talk to a real person was a battle of nerves. One person didn’t know what we were talking about, one activated the wrong box again, the last person told us that “that department is closed now”. This is NOT what I expect from the cable company that I’ve been with for 20 years and I’m not pleased. Tomorrow I am going back into the store (several miles from where I live) to exchange the new DVR. I certainly hope we don’t have to go through this circus again.
